Fluffsy Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Fluffsy does and doesn't do with your data. We've written it in plain English instead of legalese - if anything's unclear, email us at the address at the bottom.
The short version
- Your pet photos never leave your device
- We don't have a login system, so we don't have your name, email, or account
- The only thing that goes to a server is your anonymous subscription status, through RevenueCat
- We don't show ads
- We don't track you across other apps or websites
- We don't sell, share, or monetize any of your data
What data Fluffsy handles
Photos you pick
When you select photos to turn into stickers, Fluffsy reads them from your Photos library with your permission. The processing - detecting your pet and cutting it out from the background - happens entirely on your device, using Apple's Vision framework. The resulting stickers are saved in Fluffsy's own app storage on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, ever.
Your preferences
The details you enter during onboarding (your pet's name, species, personality traits, how you describe your relationship) and your Settings choices (widget cadence, active hours, quote styles) are stored locally on your device. They're used only to personalize what you see in the app and on the widget. They are not transmitted anywhere.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Fluffsy Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We use RevenueCat (a third-party subscription infrastructure provider) to track subscription status. RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous user identifier (auto-generated - not linked to your Apple ID, name, or email)
- The Apple purchase receipt, which tells us whether you're a Pro subscriber
That's it. No personally identifiable information. No email, no name, no device identifier, no location.

What Fluffsy does NOT collect
- Your name, email, phone number, or birthday
- Your location
- Your contacts
- Your browsing history
- Any device identifier (no IDFA, no advertising ID)
- Your usage patterns or analytics (no PostHog, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Crash reports with personal data
Third parties
The only third party involved in Fluffsy's operation is RevenueCat, which processes subscription status as described above. Apple is involved in the purchase flow itself, under Apple's standard terms.
We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.
How long your data is stored
Your photos, stickers, preferences, and all other app data live on your device for as long as Fluffsy is installed. When you delete the app, all of that data is removed from your device - Apple handles this automatically.
RevenueCat retains subscription records according to their own policy. If you want your RevenueCat record removed, contact us or them directly.
Your rights
- Delete everything: delete the Fluffsy app from your device. All local data is removed.
- Cancel your subscription: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Fluffsy Pro → Cancel. Apple handles this.
- Ask us anything: email the address below.
Children
Fluffsy is rated 4+ and contains no user-to-user communication, no ads, and no third-party content. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, and we especially don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (e.g., adding an analytics SDK, changing how we handle photos) will be called out in-app before they take effect.
